01
The result is independent of commercial opportunity
Rootsly calculates the outcome before considering a client service, partner, capacity, fee, campaign, lead route or consent choice. The core result appears before contact details.
A tenant preference, service availability, referral fee or likelihood of sale cannot affect the deterministic comparison. Move now and Pause and plan remain valid outcomes even when they create no opportunity for the client that hosted the journey.
02
One action does not grant every permission
Requesting a private report permits that report delivery only. Callback, appointment, photo sharing, feedback follow-up, marketing and referral are separate optional choices.
A choice records the exact wording, scope, version and time. Declining an optional route does not hide or weaken the result, and withdrawal does not silently erase the earlier evidence.
03
A referral requires a named, current choice
Rootsly can suggest a relevant partner only after the result. Before any transfer, the homeowner sees the specifically named receiver, why it is suggested, what minimum information would be shared, expected contact and the current commercial disclosure.
A decline transfers nothing. If the receiver declines or times out, a different receiver requires a new named presentation and fresh consent; the earlier permission never carries over.
- No detailed mortgage answers, full assessment, internal score or unrelated information is included in the minimum transfer.
- The receiver must confirm capacity and the disclosed contact expectation before accepting.
- Cancellation before first receiver access prevents payload access; after access, later access is blocked but an earlier disclosure cannot be recalled.
04
Fees are disclosed before referral consent
The disclosure states whether Rootsly may receive no fee, a fixed fee or a percentage fee, together with the due milestone. A percentage is based only on qualifying receiver service revenue excluding VAT—not property value, sale price or the homeowner's budget.
Fee reporting is an operational record between companies. Rootsly does not collect the fee from the homeowner through this product, issue an invoice or mark a payment as settled, and fee level never changes routing or the assessment result.
05
Evidence, ownership and complaints
When a provider, client or other commercial party contributes a material fact, Rootsly identifies its source and date. Contributions do not buy editorial control over the result, methodology or Guides.
A complaint about a client's or partner's service remains that company's responsibility. Rootsly can coordinate referral evidence and escalation without presenting itself as the contractual dispute adjudicator.
