A staging draft—not effective terms
This document records the proposed assessment boundary for review. It is not the effective public-pilot acceptance text and does not replace a professionally approved, immutable legal version in the assessment flow.
The production journey must fail closed if the required effective terms, privacy and methodology versions are absent.

Who may use the assessment
The assessment is designed for adults exploring a residential property decision in the supported launch area. The person using it must be entitled to provide the property and household information entered.
Do not enter another person's confidential information or unnecessary information about children. An anonymous exploration does not require a homeowner account.

Decision support—not a direction or guarantee
Rootsly organises a comparison and explains a useful next check. It does not decide what a household must do, guarantee a result, promise that a project is possible or guarantee the value or saleability of a property.
The result is not a formal valuation, quotation, survey, planning opinion, structural assessment, legal or tax advice, mortgage recommendation or regulated affordability decision.
- Property, cost and value evidence can change after the assessment date.
- Unknown or estimated inputs reduce evidence quality and remain visible.
- A relevant qualified professional should confirm decisions outside Rootsly's scope.

Information and corrections
The comparison depends on the information available at the recorded time. Homeowners can correct provider facts, identify estimates and run a reassessment when a material input changes.
A reassessment creates a new historical result rather than silently changing an earlier result or report. Rootsly shows ranges for uncertain values and does not treat missing information as zero.

Contact and sharing are separate choices
The complete core result appears before contact details. Requesting a report permits only that report delivery; it is not permission for a callback, appointment, marketing or referral.
Each optional next step is presented separately. Referral requires a fresh choice naming one current receiver and the exact information and commercial disclosure before any transfer.

Keep private report access secure
A private report link is a time-bounded access credential for the intended mailbox. Do not forward it or publish it. Rootsly may revoke or replace access where compromise is suspected.
Link expiry does not erase the immutable assessment and report evidence. Privacy requests use the separate verified workflow.
